With gratitude in my heart, I am announcing that there will no longer be Thursday night yoga classes at Ravenswood Health Center. The last Thursday night yoga class will be on Thursday, May 2, 7:10-8:10 pm as I am moving forward in my spiritual practice. I will be taking an advanced yoga training and continuing my graduate studies, so I will be taking a break from teaching group yoga classes for now!
Love to you all. Namaste!

Hello Yogis~
Treat yourself to some you time.
You time with anything you enjoy, even if it is just for a few moments of turning inward to experience what it’s like to be housed in this body.
Sketch in some time to get on the mat today if you can!

AUM is the sound of the universe, or all possibility and probability.
By vibrating with AUM, we can begin to unravel the layers of impressions that we have about who we are. Yup ——- the beliefs that we have that can be self-sabotaging and simply… untrue!
Take the time to step back and notice the beliefs and thoughts that are a running dialogue in the head. In doing so, we can notice but ONE possibility. Realizing this can help us see that there are other ways of being.
It’s human to feel discouraged or stuck sometimes. I’m reminded of people, like Arthur in the video, that transcend the limits of what we typically think is impossible…
We all have the power to feel through challenges and persisting toward what our hearts deeply know is possible.
Take good care of your heart and Spirit by practicing on the mat on this week on Valentine’s Day.

We tend to lose sight of who we really are. Sometimes we need a pep talk to get us out of believing that we aren’t good enough.
This kiddo will give it to you straight!
….Be your awesome self.
Come to yoga and create something on the mat today!

Sometimes life feels like it is at full speed….and we find ourselves moving faster to get more done. This tends to have the opposite effect-we warp into stress and illness, we are less effective and enjoy things less.
Slow down this week and notice how your experience comes into fullness.
Be silent.
Take pleasure in the patterns you see in your food.
Notice the muscles that engage when you walk.
Take care of this moment.
Let yourself see a different angle—-Slowing down grounds us to feel bliss, the wholeness of the moment, alive. Nature is providing us quiet space to move in slower motion.
And if you can make it, join us on Thursday for yoga that inspires different perspectives and bliss in subtle and slow movement.
Evolving your Spirit requires loving your Spirit. Loving yourself is an “inside job,” one of inner listening.
Do the simple things that you do to others for yourself as well- say thanks, slow down, take care.
Give to yourself by being kind and attentive to your body, heart, and spirit at Yoga this Thursday (January 10) at Ravenswood Health Center - 7:10-810 pm. All levels are welcome!
